Irons & Clothes Steamers
Banned on all major cruise lines (fire risk). Use the onboard laundry or pay for pressing service.
Full-Size Bottles of Alcohol
Most lines prohibit or strictly limit bringing alcohol aboard. One bottle of wine per person is the common exception. Check your cruise line's policy.
Surge Protectors / Power Boards
Cruise ships have limited, controlled power. Surge protectors are banned. Bring a simple multi-outlet USB charger instead.
Drones
Banned on virtually all cruise lines and restricted in most ports. Leave the drone at home.
Every Single Thing You Own
Cruise cabins are small. A 7-night cruise needs a medium-sized suitcase, not four bags. Most ships offer laundry services โ pack light and use them.
